2019 RECIPIENTS

Benjamin Bezner
Dalhart High School
Ben is the 18-year old son of Mitchel and Ashley Bezner, who are members in XIT’s Texline Exchange. He is a senior at Dalhart High School. Ben plans on attending Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX to obtain a Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Business with a minor in Animal Science. He would like to return to his family’s ranch after graduating from college to manage the business side of their operation.

Evelyn Guerrero
Texline High School
Evelyn is the 17-year old daughter of Maria and Alfredo Guerrero. The Guerreros are members in XIT’s Texline Exchange. Evelyn is a senior at Texline High School. She plans to attend Frank Phillips College in Borger, TX to obtain her Associates Degree in General Studies, before transferring to either Oklahoma Panhandle State University in Goodwill, OK. or West Texas A&M University in Canyon, TX to obtain a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. She would like to work as a private accountant in her own office one day, or as a public accountant in this area or in Amarillo, TX.
 


Evelyn Guerrero

Morgan Luther
Texline High School
Morgan is the 18-year old daughter of Phillip & Misty Luther, who are members in XIT’s Texline Exchange. She is a senior at Texline High School. Morgan plans to attend Clarendon College in Clarendon, TX to finish her Associates Degree in Science, before transferring to West Texas A&M University in Amarillo, TX to obtain a Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Business. She would like to work at an agricultural based business as a policy analyst after college.

Samantha Peavey
Dalhart High School
Samantha is the 17-year old daughter of David and Melissa Peavey. The Peaveys are members in XIT’s Coldwater Exchange. Samantha is a senior at Dalhart High School. She plans to attend Lamar Community College in Lamar, CO to obtain two degrees, one in Agricultural Business A.S. and the other in Horse Training and Management, A.A.S. She would like to work in the Texas Panhandle after graduation as a working ranch horse and cutting horse trainer.
