FRS Scholarships Provide Opportunities for Students to Attend College or Vocational School The foundation annually awards scholarships to an exceptional group of rural students for their first year of college or vocational school. All applicants require partnership with an NTCA—The Rural Broadband Association member company to be eligible. This scholarship is available to any graduating senior who receives their local telecommunications service from XIT Rural Telephone Cooperative, Inc. Their landline telephone number must begin with 377, 384, 727, 769, 343, 753 or 362. An application for the FRS Scholarship Program is available each October for the following year’s program.
